Vinyasa Yoga Flow
The continual flowing movements of Vinyasa Yoga Flow help stretch your muscles while they are being strengthened, allowing you for greater mobility and range of motion. A constant flow, tied to the breath, allows for fresh oxygen to fuel and loosen muscles. Increased flexibility takes stress off the joints, ligaments and tendons, and helps prevent injuries like pulls and tears.
Vinyasa Yoga Flow serves as a strength-training process and helps build lean muscle mass throughout the body. The different poses utilise your own body weight as a resistance. All muscle groups will be trained in unison, thus creating balanced strength throughout the body.
Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way that is on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally. Vinyasa yoga and mindfulness goes hand in hand; it helps us regulate our emotions, reduce stress, lower judgmental attitudes, improve memory and focus and even reshape our brain structures.
